| Gala Night Gala Night. For the first time at the 2008 show we had a Opening Night Gala. This was an evening of great food from eight of the local Pismo Beach restaurants, listed below, drinks, live entertainment and a live charity auction for the Veterans of Loma Linda Hospital. This was a night for everyone to meet there fellow participants, City officials, and the local City business community and, of course, just have fun. Eveyone had a great time and we are ready to do it again! Don’t miss the 2009 Gala, it’s going to be a lot of fun. You can sign up for the Gala on your vehicle registration form. 2008 Pismo Beach Classic Restaurants Serving Menu Brad's Restaurant- Serving their Famous Clam Chowder. Chele's Food and Spirits- Serving a Very special, to die for tortilla soup, mmm good. Pierside Seafood- Serving a Great seared Ahi salad, Fresh lightly seared sushi grade Ahi tuna in a peppercorn / sesame crust, served on a bed of greens and dressed with balsamic vinaigrette, complemented with sides of cusabi and aioli sauces. Tio Alberto's - Gracing the central coast with flavors of old traditional Mexican cuisine since 1989. Joining the festivities of the car show week, serving a sampling of rich chili Verde and Colorado dishes along with some fresh fruit tropical beverages and fresh handmade corn tortillas and award winning salsas. Alex's BBQ- Fresh locally grown vegetables marinated in an Italian marinate, grilled; you won’t believe how good these are. Homemade meatballs in Alex’s famous Chipotte BBQ sauce, and chef’s selection. Hoagie's Sandwiches & Grill -Special Sub Sandwich Quarterdeck Restaurant- Serving a delicious warm seafood croissant.
